WHAT HAPPENED?
The 'world's most famous soccer mom' was on hand to help out as the venues for the 104-match tournament were announced on Sunday. Kim Kardashian revealed her native Los Angeles as the host for the opening fixture for the USMNT accompanied by Saint, who was dressed in a Real Madrid shirt and clutching a miniature World Cup.
Asked who he most looking forward to seeing when the action gets underway in June 2026, the youngster was in no doubts, picking out USMNT Juventus midfielder McKennie as the main man.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The venue announcements came with something of a surprise, with New York/New Jersey's MetLife stadium chosen as the venue for the final when it was widely believed to be heading to the At&T Stadium in north Texas.
Mexico City's Estadio Azteca was named as the venue for the tournament's opening fixture, scheduled for June 11 2026.

Already qualified as 2026 World Cup co-hosts, the Stars and Stripes will be putting a premium on any competitive action that comes their way between now and the big kick off.
